I'm proud (and excited) to announce that I was interviewed as part of a
extensive 6 page article on Live Looping in the current issue of DRUM! Magazine.

It's an excellent primer for anyone who is interested in exploring this world.
Norm Weinberg did a fantastic job. In it, he contrasts the methods and approaches
I use in looping with that of my freind, the beat boxer/human voice orchestra extraordinaire,
Kid Beyond.

In a very long professional career as a trapset drummer and multi-percussionist, it is the first time
I've ever been in a drum magazine. I feel giddy, like a little kid!

  • Thanks, I want to read this because My guitar player uses a looping system, and I would like to just loop my Tumba every now and then, so I can free up my right hand to play the cow bells. I am more of a drummer, then percussionist so playing the bass with my right hand and not my right foot is still alittle diffrent for me and it would just be nice to free my right hand every now and then. I,ve been playing alot of Percussion for about 14 years now but Drums for over 31. I was just talking about this to my guitar player. About letting him click the loop in on his so I do not have to Buy one to use alittle. It's something we can work in. Interesting yea I want to read it.
